Process
Throughout my university degree I have had an array of challenging topics, assessment, conversations and _. In my second year I was tasked with creating new meaning to an old masterpiece. As seen in the second image, I selected The Last Supper and played with current events. It landed well and inspired my next semesters project being, Trump’s Last Supper.
Prior to undertaking further studies I dabbled with digital media. Using Clip Studio I developed a pleasing sketch that I then projected with a movie projector. Traced the outline with pencil and from there, painted a tonal ground with acrylics. Afterwards I slowly layered oil paints to create the final painting.
